President Holly Sorensen reported that she and Carol Walker attended the Peanut Day Inc. annual meeting. Our club came in 5th overall in 2010 Peanut Day collections.
$250 was contributed to Maine West After Prom 2011.
$400 was contributed to Boy Scout Troop 25.

Highlites of 23 July Board Meeting
- Nancy Reiser, who was previously elected to a board position starting 1 Oct 2009, was elected to fill the Board opening for the present term.
- $150. was awarded to the Maine Community Youth Assistance Foundation
- $150. was awarded to the Maine-Niles Association of Special Recreation
- $100. was awarded to Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy
- $500. was awarded to the Northwest Suburban Council of the Boy Scouts of America
-A $50. certificate to Longhorn Restaurants, furnished by the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be presented to the Craft room at the II District convention to use as they see fit
- $1,000. will be presented to the Spastic Paralysis Research Foundation at the Saturday Luncheon at the II District convention
